- W3208972192 abstract "Recent research has been directed towards implementing a distributed secondary level of hierarchical control to achieve accurate reactive power sharing. The consensus control is adopted to solve mismatched feeder lines challenging in off-grid microgrids. In this control, each agent updates its information based on the received information from its neighbors to converge each agent to reach common values. This exchange of information among agents is modeled by undirected communication topologies (CTs). The contribution of this paper is to compare three different CTs to find a balanced topology that considering the rate of convergence, cost, extensibility, and scalability. Also, a new approach of using the consensus control to update the adaptive virtual impedance control based on consensus control to eliminate the reactive power sharing errors. The different CTs are simulated in MATLAB/Simulink to validate the proposed control and examine the performance and characteristics of these topologies." @default.
