This paper is an attempt to understand the flow induced vibration observed. The resolution of an annular flow for a deformable structure has been proposed. Simulations showed the importance of fluid boundary conditions on the fluid behavior and therefore on the stability results. Derivation of equation showed that the friction induced a significant effect on the dynamic of the structure trough the pressure force, and that this effect becomes more important as the annulus becomes narrower. Stability results were compared to the potential flow theory and showed the limitation of the latter supported by experimental results." @default.
