- W3209449240 abstract "The study investigated the extent of students’ assessment if business teacher education lecturers on instructional delivery practices in Edo and Delta. The descriptive survey design was used for the study. The population comprised 376 Business education students at the University of Benin, Ambrose Alli University and Delta State University, Abraka. There was no sample since the population was manageable. A questionnaire containing 22 items was the instrument used for data collection. The questionnaire was validated by two (2) experts in Business education and two experts in Measurement and Evaluation at the Delta State University, Abraka. To determine the internal consistency of the instrument, 54 copies of questionnaire were administered to final year Business education students of the Niger Delta University. The data obtained were subjected to Cronbach Alpha which yielded a reliability coefficient of 0.94. Data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation. The findings are Business education lecturers give prompt feedback on students learning outcomes, Students’ learning is assessed using variety of methods, Students are informed about the criteria for evaluation to a high extent. It was recommended that adequate lecturers should be employed by the university authorities in business teacher education programme for comprehensive curriculum delivery to the students and students should be regular at their classes in order to acquire relevant skills and knowledge among others.
