- W3211755724 abstract "Aryl-substituted phenanthroimidazole (PI) and triphenylamine (TPA) derivatives have attracted tremendous attention in the field of opto-electronic devices because they possess excellent properties. In this work, we synthesized a novel organic emitting material (( E )- N , N -diphenyl-4-(4-(1-phenyl-1 H -phenanthro [9,10- d ]imidazole-2-yl)styryl)aniline (DPPyPA) with D–π–A chromophore. DPPyPA was synthesized without using precious metal catalysis. What's more, the reaction process was simple and easy to monitor. The photoelectric, physical properties and the organic/inorganic hybrid LED based on DPPyPA were investigated. The hybrid LED exhibits tunable electroluminescent spectra (EL) as the concentration of DPPyPA increases without losing device performance. In addition, the hybrid LED with low concentration of DPPyPA possesses luminance efficiency (LE) of 20 lm W −1 and greenish-blue emission. The hybrid WLEDs based on DPPyPA and Rubrene were also prepared. The device shows max Ra-color rendering index (Ra) of 73.5 and max LE of 32.64 lm W −1 . It is a decent choice to establish organic/inorganic hybrid WLEDs by using greenish-blue emitting material and Rubrene. • A novel greenish-blue emitting material, DPPyPA was firstly designed and synthesized. • The synthesis of DPPyPA requires only three steps without using precious metals as catalyst. • DPPyPA possesses high thermal stability, PLQYs and no thermal fluorescence quenching property. • Efficient hybrid LEDs with tunable spectra based on DPPyPA were constructed." @default.
