Pada beberapa kondisi seperti pada pemulihan daerah bencana dan medan perang, di mana infrastruktur komunikasi data rusak atau tidak dapat dimanfaatkan, teknologi mobile ad-hoc network dapat digunakan untuk komunikasi data alternatif. Agar pemanfaatannya optimal, mobile ad hoc network membutuhkan routing yang handal. Quality of service merupakan hal yang penting untuk mengatasi masalah komunikasi dalam mobile ad-hoc network. Penelitian ini menganalisis quality of service routing protocol babel pada mobile ad-hoc network. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan 3 skenario yaitu, pengujian feasibility condition, self healing, dan pengujian delay, jitter, packet loss, dan throughput pada kondisi multihop. Pada pengujian feasibility condition didapatkan rute alternative dan pada saat pengujian feasibility condition dipastikan tidak adanya loop yang terbentuk. Pada pengujian self healing juga dilakukan dengan baik dengan berhasilnya routing protocol membentuk route baru setelah terjadi kerusakan route akibat matinya salah satu node. Nilai delay dan jitter yang dihasilkan oleh skenario pengujian yang dilakukan menurut standar TIPHON masuk ke dalam kategori sangat bagus dan bagus. Pada pengambilan data packet loss nilai yang dihasilkan oleh skenario pengujian yang dilakukan menurut standar TIPHON masuk ke dalam kategori bagus dan jelek, akan tetapi sebagian besar nilai yang didapatkan masuk ke dalam kategori jelek. Pada pengambilan data throughput nilai yang dihasilkan oleh skenario pengujian yang dilakukan menurut standar TIPHON masuk ke dalam kategori bagus, sedang, dan jelek akan tetapi sebagian besar nilai yang didapatkan masuk dalam kategori bagus. Infrastructure wireless data communication required for the device fixed wireless (wireless mobile device) can communicate with each other. In some conditions such as the recovery of the disaster areas, battlefields, where the data communications infrastructure is damaged or can not be used, mobile technology ad-hoc network can be used for data communications alternatives. So that optimal utilization, mobile ad-hoc network requires a reliable routing algorithms. Quality of service is vital to address the problem of communications in mobile ad-hoc network. This study analyzes the quality of service routing protocol babel on a mobile ad-hoc network. Test carried out using 3 scenarios, namely testing feasibility condition, self-healing, and delay, jitter, packet loss, and throughput on multihop condition. In testing the feasibility condition and the alternative route available at the time of testing the feasibility condition confirmed the absence of a loop is formed. In testing the self healing also done well with the success of the routing protocol to form a new route after the damage occurred as a result of inactive of one of the Route node. Values delay and jitter generated by the scenario testing conducted according to the standards TIPHON into the category of a very good and nice. In the packet loss data capture value generated by the scenario testing conducted according to the standards TIPHON into the category of good and bad, but most of the values obtained into the bad category. At throughput data capture value generated by the scenario testing conducted according to the standards TIPHON into the category of good, medium and bad but mostly the value obtained in the category of good." @default.
