- W3211927055 abstract "In the last two decades, businesses are witnessing expanding novelties and voices that combining profits, conscious capitalism, and societal responsibility is possible. They are inevitably the wheels to creatively combat social problems caused by inevitable societal hierarchies, market, and political failures. Studies have shown that most social entrepreneurs and innovators who start and become successful locally ‘scale out’ or ‘scale up’ and do so simultaneously to deal with systems that produce these social problems in the first place and get more significant impacts. Studies in this sphere investigated when ‘scale up’ became necessary, how successful social entrepreneurs were able or not, and what skills became required. This situation has birthed the idea of system entrepreneurship. A case study of this manifestation we believe is the COVID-19 Response Alliance for Social Entrepreneurs. We engage this new nuance of scaling. How do social entrepreneurs become influential system entrepreneurs, and what internal and external qualities are necessary for collaboration? The study argues that system change requires not only external but also internal dynamics of actors." @default.
