- W3214667840 abstract "This paper mainly focuses on building a line following robot for industrial use. This line following robot has two types of gas sensors MQ2 and MQ8, which are used to detect the presence of harmful gases like methane, butane, LPG, and hydrogen. These gases which are used most often, when inhaled cause harm to the workers working in the industries. This robot can detect the presence of flammable gases and other harmful gases tracking a gas pipeline or any other source of gases where it is installed. In the presence of gas, the robot turns on the buzzer to alert the workers and informs the workstation using an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module. This robot is also equipped with a flame sensor attached to a servo motor hence providing the ability to sense the presence of fire (0 degree to180 degrees) in the direction the robot faces. In case of fire accidents, the robot alerts the workstation and sends a mail to the firefighting department with the location read from the GPS module. As the robot works as an autonomous system, it does not need to be controlled remotely. Hence this robot is based on the line following mechanism, it is quite easy to install and can cover a large area efficiently." @default.
