An enabling culture is one that encourages high engagement and performance from employees - to facilitate out-performance in achieving organisational objectives, with the aim of delivering strategy and purpose. Coaching has emerged as one of the most effective tools for transforming leadership and organisational culture. This chapter explores the reflections and insights on leadership development, coaching and organisational culture, and their impact on increasing business performance. It includes a case study of a division of 3,000 employees within a large financial services company, from Deborah Williams’ perspective as an organisational development consultant in a human capital department. The Transformative Leadership Coaching Programme successfully integrates Systemic Team Coaching and individual coaching. The key aim of the coaching programme was to help leaders to develop the behaviours required to lead themselves, their teams and the organisation to achieve the organisation’s strategic goals. The programme designed for this coaching programme was to develop transformative leadership that would build an organisational culture that promotes team performance. Here, we explore strategy’s link to organisational culture and leadership; cultural diversity and organisational culture; transforming leadership and inspiring a team of diverse members as well as developing an integrated coaching framework to shift organisational culture. Also examined are the importance of using Systemic Team Coaching to align organisational culture, systems and relationships and how individual coaching is integrated with team coaching to entrench individual learning and leadership change - and capturing organisational learning from coaching conversations." @default.
