- W3217296858 abstract "Bio-signal processing performance heavily dependent on the quality of the signal. Noise removal from input signal is the primary task of this process at initial stages. This is main requirement of healthcare technology deployment for clinical usage to wearable devices with optimum power consumption and robust methods. Due to insufficient information on cleaned real-world data, performance evaluation of noise removal methods for real-world signals is currently problematic. With the advancement in sensor technology, data storage and interface technology, it provides the reliable collection of data for medical purpose. Noises generated from devices functioning, body’s internal functioning and surrounding environment of patient degrades the signal quality. With the advancement in signal processing domain significant improvement in noise removal has been achieved in recent years. Most techniques are based on the mathematical models which resembles suitably to the signal’s nature. This paper reviews the noise removal techniques used in previous works." @default.
