- W331865452 abstract "Photoelectric photometry of 15 mainbelt asteroids was carried out at ESO, La Silla, Chile with the 0.50 ESO, the 0.60 cm Bochum, the 0.90 Dutch and 1.0 m ESO telescopes, at CTIO, Chile with the 0.60 m Lowell and 1.0 m telescopes, and at OHP, France with 1.0 m telescope at Mt. Chiran. We have derived new rotation periods and present composite lightcurves of asteroids: 105 Arthemis (16h.84+-0.01), 679 Pax (8h.452+-0.003), and 1048 Feodosia (10h.46+-0.01). We have improved the periods by good lightcurve coverage of asteroids: 258 Tyche (10h.00+-0.01) and 369 Aeria (4h.82+-0.03). Suggestions for new rotations periods are made for the asteroids: 377 Campania (12h.0 or 16h.0), 487 Venetia (13h.28+-0.01) and 626 Notburga (20h.).Additional composite lightcurves obtained at different dates and/or oppositions are presented for asteroids: 2 Pallas, 51 Nemausa, 238 Hypatia and 416 Vaticana. For these asteroids we have used published and well-established rotation periods. For 14 Irene, 181 Eucharis and 2183 Neufang only single lightcurves are given. We remark that for asteroids 258 Tyche, 369 Aeria, 416 Vaticana and 679 Pax the maximum lightcurve amplitude differs considerably from previously published values, indicating that our observations were made at extremely different view with respect to the asteroid poles. For most of the asteroids mean B-V and U-B colors and reduced magnitudes are presented. We have covered a fairly large range of rotation periods where 369 Aeria with 4h.82 is fast spinning, whereas 181 Eucharis seems to be one of the very few known asteroids with extremely long rotation periods." @default.
