Moreover, the study aimed at determining the effect of gender, game and living place on the determinants of the physical activity. For the sake of achieving the aims of the study, a sample of (184) students of the secondary schools’ teams from both genders was chosen (volleyball, basketball, and handball players). The tool of the study was a questionnaire which consisted of 12 items and used for measuring determinants of physical activity. The results of the study indicated that players possessed a high level of determinants of physical activity as the percentage of response for total score was (78.4%), where the highest rank order was for psychological determinants (88%), then came social determinants in the second position while the lowest one was for environmental determinants (66.4%). In addition, the results indicated that there were no significant differences in the determinants of physical activity among male and female secondary schools’ team games in Tulkarem district due to gender, game and living place variables. هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى واقع محددات ممارسة النشاط الرياضي لدى لاعبي ولاعبات فرق الألعاب الجماعية للمرحلة الثانوية فــي محافظة طولكرم، إضافة إلى تحديد الفروق في محددات ممارسة النشاط الرياضي تبعا لمتغيرات الجنس، ونوع اللعبة، ومكان السكن. ولتحقيق ذلك أجريت الدراسة على عينة قوامها (184) لاعبا ولاعبة لفرق العاب كرة الطائرة، وكرة السلة، وكرة اليد في المدارس الثانوية في محافظة طولكرم. وطبق عليها استبانة محددات ممارسة النشاط الرياضي المكونة من (12) فقرة وموزعة بالتساوي بواقع (4) فقرات على ثلاثة مجالات هي: (المحددات الاجتماعية، والمحددات النفسية، والمحددات البيئية). أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن واقع محددات ممارسة النشاط الرياضي لدى لاعبي ولاعبات فرق الألعاب الجماعية للمرحلة الثانوية في محافظة طولكرم كانت كبيرة، فقد وصلت النسبة المئوية للاستجابة على الدرجة الكلية إلى (78.4%)، وفيما يتعلق بترتيب المحددات كانت المحددات النفسية بالمرتبة الأولى (88%)، يليها المحددات الاجتماعية (81%)، وأخيرا المحددات البيئية (66.4%). كما أظهرت النتائج انه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في محددات ممارسة النشاط الرياضي تعزى لمتغيرات الجنس، ونوع اللعبة، ومكان السكن. وعليه يوصي الباحث، بنشر الوعي الرياضي لدى جمهور الطلبة من خلال الندوات وتفعيل دور الإعلام الرياضي الفلسطيني لتشجيع الطلبة على ممارسة النشاط الرياضي، وضرورة اهتمام قسم النشاطات الطلابية في وزارة التربية والتعليم العالي الفلسطيني ، بتشجيع الطلبة (ذكور وإناث) على ممارسة النشاط الرياضي باختلاف أنواعه، من أجل الارتقاء بالمستوى الرياضي الفلسطيني دولياً وضرورة إجراء دراسات مشابهة تشمل المرحلة المدرسية الأساسية والجامعية." @default.
