The paper gives an account of the SNePS/GLAIR architecture which has been implemented for the Magellan Pro. It details a challenging task of reinventing Shakey in order to expand the horizons he has inhabited so far. The aim is to utilize prior knowledge about SNePS, build a GLAIR architecture and integrate this with the capabilities of the Magellan Pro so that we have a robot capable of sensing, planning and acting intelligently.
