Bu amac dogrultusunda, 157 (74 kadin, 83 erkek) evli katilimciarastirmada yer almistir. Arastirmada veri toplama araci olarak, Evlilikte UyumOlcegi (EUO), Beck Depresyon Envanteri (BDE), Iliskilerde Inanc Envanteri (IIE)ve Gozden Gecirilmis Kendini Ayarlama Olcegi (G-KA) kullanilmistir.Arastirmada, evlilik uyumu ile demografik faktorler (cinsiyet, yas, evliliksuresi, esin yasi, evlenme yasi, esin destek duzeyi, evliligin gelecegini degerlendirmebicimi) arasindaki iliskilere Pearson korelasyon katsayisi ile bakilmistir. Analizsonucuna gore, evlilik uyumu ile esin destek duzeyi ve evliligin geleceginidegerlendirme bicimi pozitif yonlu anlamli korelasyon gostermistir. Bununla birlikte,evlilik uyumu ile depresyon, iliskilere iliskin inanc (sevilemezlik, caresizlik), kendiniayarlama duzeyi (digerlerinin ifade edici davranislarina duyarlilik, kisisel sunumuduzenleme becerisi) arasindaki iliskilere Pearson korelasyon katsayisi ile bakilmistir.94Analiz sonucuna gore, evlilik uyumu ile depresyon arasinda negatif yonlu anlamli biriliski bulunmustur. Daha sonra, arastirmada yer alan degiskenlerden evlilik uyumunuyordayan degiskenlerin belirlenmesi amaciyla hiyerarsik regresyon analizikullanilmistir. Ilk adimda, demografik degiskenler (cinsiyet, yas, evlenme yasi, esinyasi, evlilik suresi, esin destek duzeyi, evliligin gelecegini degerlendirme bicimi)regresyon esitliginde yer almistir. Ikinci adimda, BDE, IIE ve G-KAO’den eldeedilen puanlar da, regresyon esitligine girmistir. Regresyon analizi sonucunda yas,evlilik suresi, evlenme yasi, evliligin gelecegini degerlendirme bicimi ve depresyonpuaninin evlilik uyumunu yordadigi bulunmustur. Son olarak, yuksek ve dusukduzeyde evlilik uyumuna sahip olan kisilerin depresyon, iliskilere iliskin inanc,kendini ayarlama duzeyi acisindan farklilasip farklilasmadigina bagimsiz gruplar icint test teknigiyle ile bakilmistir. Arastirmadan elde edilen sonuca gore, yuksek vedusuk evlilik uyumuna sahip kisiler sadece depresyon puanlari acisindanfarklilasmaktadirlar. Additionally, therelationship between marital adjustment and demografic factors (gender, age, maritalduration, age of spouse, age of mariage, spouse’s support and evaluation of how ismarriage in future) was examined. The sample of the study consisted of 157 marriedindividuals (74 woman and 83 man). Marital Adjustment Test (MAT), BeckDepression Inventory (BDI), Relationship Belief Inventory (RBI) and Revised Self-Monitoring Scale (R-SMS) were applied to the married people.Pearson correlation coefficient was calculated to find out the relationshipbetween marital adjustment and demografic variables (gender, age, marital duration,age of spouse, age of mariage, spouse’s support and “what is the expectation aboutthe future of marriage”). According to the results, spouse’s support and “what is theexpectation about the future of marriage” was significantly and positively correlatewith marital adjustment. Pearson correlation coefficients were also calculated toshow the relationship among marital adjustment and depression, relationship belief(helplessness, unlovability), self-monitoring. According to the results, depression96was significantly and negatively correlated with marital adjustment. Then,hierarchical regression analysed was used to examine the predictors of maritaladjustment among the variables taken into account in the study. In the first step,demografic variables (gender, age, marital duration, age of spouse, age of mariage,spouse’s support and “what is the expectation about the future of marriage”) wereentered into the regression equation. In the second step, the scores obtained fromBDI, RBI and RSMS were entered into the equation. According to the results of theregression analyses, marital adjustment was predicted by age, marital duration, ageof marriage, “what is the expectation about the future of marriage” and depression.Finally, independent samples t test was used to answer whether depression,relationship beliefs and self-monitoring in high and low marital adjustment groupswould differentiate. Findings pointed out that the difference between the high andlow marital adjustment group was only for depression scores. High maritaladjustment group had lower depression scores." @default.
