- W4200347577 abstract "This chapter presents an exercise developed within a Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility course at the Excelia Business School in 2020. The content of the course, its learning goals and specific objectives are described, as well as the students’ profiles and the reasons they chose the course as an elective. The exercise itself is then presented: a reflective essay in which students were to write about an action they had undertaken in relation to one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They were asked to explain the reasons for choosing the SDG they had, the action they took over the timespan of the course, and the impact this action had on them as individuals. Some of the most powerful emotional impacts they described in their essays are presented in this book chapter. These impacts on their feelings refer to emotional learning techniques and dissonance theory. The chapter ends with recommendations from the author for replicating the exercise and the learning outcomes." @default.
