- W4200553684 abstract "With the establishment of “carbon peak” and “carbon neutral” goals, new energy sources such as photovoltaics and wind power will usher in unprecedented development opportunities. However, large-scale new energy installations will cause the power grid to “weak”, which brings great challenges to power supply reliability. As the key node of the grid connection of new energy power plants, inverters are key equipment that determine the stability of new energy power plants and the supportability of the grid. Its stability under weak grid has become an issue that needs urgent attention. This paper first introduces the concept of SCR as an indicator of power grid strength, then derives the formula of SCR in a single-feed AC/DC system, and analyses the influence of SCR value on the inverter through the inverter output impedance model. Four different types and manufacturers of string inverters on the market are selected for stability testing and analysis in weak grid environment. The test results show that the adaptability to weak grid of different manufacturer's inverters vary widely. Poor inverters have difficulties in connecting to the grid in areas where the power grid is weak, and there is a risk of disconnection and power failure when the grid environment is gradually deteriorating. Finally, suggestions for improvement are given from the perspectives of equipment, power plant, and power grid respectively." @default.
