- W4206265779 abstract "This paper describes the required steps to conduct a systematic review of salts and their eutectics. For several of the most recent reviews, the research question, the scope of the review, highlighted findings, and recommendations for future directions are summarized. The qualitative synthesis identifies key aspects of salts and their eutectics such as measurement tools, preparation methods, and assorted additives to improve a variety of properties. The pair-wise meta-analysis studies measure the non-dimensional effect sizes of different factors on targeted properties of salts. The aim of this study is to show how meta-analysis can assist in laying out all the factors and their levels of influences on targeted properties, thereby facilitating the decision making for proper material selections for thermal energy storage applications in concentrating solar power plants. The machine learning decision tree model predicts the suitable carbon-based additives needed to achieve a given enhancement ratio of the thermal conductivity of composites, minimizing the number of possible studies required." @default.
