Considering the structural characteristics of drum in aero-engine, a rotating thin-walled cylindrical shell was considered for analysis and the governing equations of motion have been derived in frame of Lagrange principle. Referring to the features of tip-rubbing in aero-engine drum construction features, an fixed point rubbing force model and a series of harmonic rubbing excitation were proposed for theoretical formulation and ANSYS finite element simulation, respectively. Moreover, an experimental system, which can reflect the rubbing process of rigid blade and drum, was established to reveal the deeper mechanism. Finally, further detail investigations are carried out to explore the complex nonlinear resonance and a series of interesting phenomenon have been obtained." @default.
