- W4210591722 abstract "Compound bismuth aluminate tablets (CBATs), a Chinese-Western mixture preparation, has been widely used in the treatment of gastric diseases, but its quality control (QC) is demanding due to its complicacies. In this paper, an integration fingerprint of CBATs was developed using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and comprehensive linear quantitative fingerprint method (CLQFM) was applied to assess the similarity of fingerprint in qualitative and quantitative aspects. At a result, all the samples were well differentiated and classified into three grades. Meanwhile quantitative analysis of four marker compounds was also carried out to further evaluate quality of CBATs. Additionally, FTIR quantitative models were established after the selection of spectral region using the pretreatment methods, and models were accurate and had good predictive abilities with the appropriate parameters. In the end, 2,2′-azinobis-(3- ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonate) radical scavenging assay was applied to study the off-line antioxidant activity of CBAT samples and the fingerprint-efficacy relationship combined with partial least-squares model. In a word, this paper provides a scientific and bright choice for the comprehensive QC of CBATs and other similar Traditional Chinese Medicine preparations." @default.
