- W4210833582 abstract "The mesoporous As(V) ion imprinted polymer (M−IIP) was synthesized in aqueous environment by simple “one-pot” co-polycondensation with functional monomer 3-[2-(2-aminoethylamino) ethylamino] propyl-trimethoxysilane (AAAPTS) and functionalized ligand diethylenetriamine (DETA), which can effective and selective adsorption of As(V) ion throughcooperative mechanisms. The synthesized M−IIP with good nanoparticles structure and rough surface, exhibited excellent adsorption capacity and selectivity for As(V) with the saturated adsorption capacity of 78.74 mg / g and imprinting factor of 1.2. Additionally, the adsorption behavior of M−IIP was more consistent with the Langmuir model (R2 = 0.994) and pseudo-second-order model (R2 = 0.999), indicating a monolith homogeneous adsorption process with chemical interaction between As(V) and the M−IIP. The M−IIP demonstrated a highly selective adsorption, and the adsorption capacity of M−IIP retained 93.0% after 6 successive recycles. The M−IIP can be used in the treatment of actual water samples with the recovery rate of 81.8%-95.4% and the RSD of 0.9%-7.9%, and the limit of detection (LOD) can be as low as 0.64 μg·L−1 with a good linear relationship (R2 = 0.991) from 5 ∼ 200 μg·L−1. The synthesized M−IIP with favourable mesoporous structure, excellent adsorption capacity and selectivity, provides a prospect for selective adsorption, removal and trace detection of toxic As(V) in real water samples." @default.
