- W4211111851 abstract "Wireless sensor network (WSN) is playing a significant role in emerging technologies such as the internet of things, smart nature applications, and many other self-configured, autonomous applications. In Energy constrained WSN energy depletion is the main problem. As the energy of the nodes is an important and precious resource, so efficient use of energy resources has a useful impact on the network in terms of the overall life period. In this work, the clustering-based routing algorithm is proposed for the efficient use of energy resources. The clustering scheme considers load balancing. Moreover, the cluster head (CH) rotation by inter-cluster selection method based on the proposed energy consumption model and distance calculation manages the energy usage of sensor nodes. Simulation results show that our proposed algorithm improves the performance by 60% than LEACH (Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy) algorithm in the case of average energy consumption and network life period that ultimately helps to build an energy-efficient WSN." @default.
