- W4211238052 abstract "This paper describes CMOS peaking current sources (Nagata current sources) with self-bias configuration; they are insensitive to temperature as well as supply voltage. First the cross-point gate voltage Vcp is simulated and analyzed, where the drain current is insensitive to temperature. Our SPICE simulations with TSMC <tex>${0.18 mumathrm{m}}$</tex> CMOS parameters show that Vcp depends on channel width W, channel length L, and drain source voltage VSD, and explanations are advanced. Then we show that multi-peaking current sources with self-configuration and start-up circuit are insensitive to temperature and supply voltage. Next, a single-peak current source (original Nagata current source) with self-configuration, is introduced that is insensitive to temperature and supply voltage. Simulations show the feasibility of MOS Nagata current sources with self-bias configuration that offer temperature and supply voltage insensitivity." @default.
