- W4212821822 abstract "The technological development that the world witnessed in the first century of the third millennium has positively affected many areas of our life, including the health field. Especially for those people who spend their time in loneliness without having anyone with them to care about them. The simplest example of this is the elderly and people with disabilities. Especially if we know that, the elderly makes up a fraction of 2-28% of countries population. Here comes the role of health institutions in providing remote health care needed by those segments of people with medical information programs and systems that use Internet and technology to achieve the desired goal, which is to monitoring the person's vital signs and send his medical data continuously and almost in real time to those directly responsible for his health. That is including doctors, nurses, and others. Other aspects of remote patient surveillance include identifying substance intoxication in patients hospitalized with heart conditions with digitalis medication and diagnosing serious illnesses until they get too difficult. In that paper, we make a review of most medical uses for IoT to help elderly and disabled patients, also we will compare between them in order to have a fear judgment on these uses." @default.
