- W4214501606 abstract "The design of an Ultra wideband (UWB) monopole with tri-band notch characteristics is discussed in this paper. The proposed antenna covers an enormous impedance bandwidth (1.00–15.00 GHz) with sharp triple notch bands at 3.1–3.8GHz, 5.5–6.15 GHz, and 7.75–8.8 GHz to eliminate interference from S bands, C bands, and centre frequency of 8.4GHz respectivelv. The designed antenna has the dimensions <tex xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>$36 times 32times 0.813$</tex> mm <sup xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>3</sup> . The antenna was fabricated on ROGERS RO4003 substrate, with a thickness of 0.813mm, the dielectric constant <tex xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>$varepsilonmathrm{r}$</tex> design is 3.55, dissipation factor or loss tangent tan <tex xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>$delta=0.0027$</tex> . The antenna is fed with <tex xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>$50Omega$</tex> micro strip feed line. The notch bands are regulated across a wide range of frequencies by altering the antenna parameters. The antenna has stable radiation characteristics, group delay, less interference due to other existing technology and more acceptable gain over the pass band. Ansoft High Frequency Structure Simulator was used for all simulation work (ANSYS HFSS 15.0 EM suit)." @default.
