In this paper, the particle flow code (PFC) was used to study the effect of mesoparameters on the rheological shear mechanical behavior of joints without bolts and with bolts. The effects of mesoparameters such as Maxwell elastic coefficient <math xmlns=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML id=M1> <msub> <mrow> <mi>E</mi> </mrow> <mrow> <mtext>m</mtext> </mrow> </msub> </math> , Maxwell viscosity coefficient <math xmlns=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML id=M2> <msub> <mrow> <mi>C</mi> </mrow> <mrow> <mtext>m</mtext> </mrow> </msub> </math> , Kelvin elastic coefficient <math xmlns=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML id=M3> <msub> <mrow> <mi>E</mi> </mrow> <mrow> <mtext>m</mtext> </mrow> </msub> </math> , Kelvin viscosity coefficient <math xmlns=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML id=M4> <msub> <mrow> <mi>C</mi> </mrow> <mrow> <mtext>m</mtext> </mrow> </msub> </math> , and friction coefficient <math xmlns=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML id=M5> <msub> <mrow> <mi>F</mi> </mrow> <mrow> <mtext>s</mtext> </mrow> </msub> </math> were analyzed. The results show that <math xmlns=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML id=M6> <msub> <mrow> <mi>E</mi> </mrow> <mrow> <mtext>m</mtext> </mrow> </msub> </math> and <math xmlns=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML id=M7> <msub> <mrow> <mi>F</mi> </mrow> <mrow> <mtext>s</mtext> </mrow> </msub> </math> mainly affect the instantaneous shear displacement, but have little effect on the rheological shear displacement.
