The structure and morphology of the catalysts were characterized by XRD, XPS, FESEM and UV–Vis DRS techniques, and the band gap width and valence band position of the materials were calculated. To investigate the effects of PMS concentration, catalyst dosage, pH and inorganic anions on the removal of TC-HCl. Under the optimal conditions, the degradation rate of TC-HCl was 73.34% ± 1.6% (Mn2O3/Bi2O3/PMS/Vis) for a catalyst dosage of 0.2 g·L−1, PMS concentration of 0.3 g·L−1 and an initial concentration of TC-HCl 45 mg·L−1, and Mn2O3/Bi2O3/PMS/Vis has good performance on TC-HCl removal in a wide pH range (3–9). Meanwhile, after four cycles of testing, there was no significant decrease in catalyst activity." @default.
