However, the poor stability of CsPbBr3 NCs under humid and thermal conditions, which has a substantial influence on their photostability, hinders their long-term utilization. Embedding these CsPbBr3 NCs in glass is expected to improve their stability. In this work, Sr2+- doped CsPbBr3 NCs are precipitated in boro-germanosilicate glasses and the PL bands were tuned by changing heat-treatments and Sr2+ doping concentrations covering the wavelength range of 507–524 nm. The maximum PL quantum efficiency of Sr2+-doped CsPbBr3 glass is 74.2% with the Sr2+/Pb2+ ratio of 3:7 at 480 °C/10 h. And the PLQY of this sample further increased to 81.7% after 60 days storage. The Sr2+ -doped CsPbBr3 NCs also exhibits better thermal stability than the undoped CsPbBr3 NCs because the Sr2+ ions passivated surface defects and reduced non-radiative transitions. The good thermal and water resistance of Sr2+ -doped CsPbBr3 NCs allow the potential applications in high-performance optical devices." @default.
