- W4220791811 abstract "The search for new drugs with a broad spectrum of activity and low side effects is one of the challenges to be managed by scientists and health workers. The use of products derived from a natural source and biodegradable has become interesting and paid more attention these last decades. The fibrin clot is the last step in blood coagulation. Fibrin formation and its functions are essential for physiological hemostasis and pathologic thrombosis. Antithrombotic medication or anticoagulants are used to increase clot permeability, reflecting fibrin network density, in association with enhanced efficiency of fibrinolysis. These anticoagulants may contribute to bleeding risk in patients. This inconvenience created a continuous desire to come up with new safe anticoagulants that do not require this strict monitoring. In recent years, biosurfactants received much attention and can be served as green and safe alternative in the inhibition of fibrin clot formation as a new anticoagulant." @default.
