- W4220807753 abstract "The interaction between streamflow and bed-load sediment material plays a vital role in sediment transportation, and the modeling of hydrodynamic systems of coasts, oceans, and rivers should be considered in hydraulic and geotechnical studies. In this model, smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) is used to simulate the dam-break wave propagation on two erodible beds with different materials of sand and PVC granular grains; however, sediment particles are represented by two models of spring-dashpot which is used mostly in Discrete Element Method (DEM) and Bingham models. In the first method, when the hydrodynamic force is exceeded and satisfied the fracture criterion of the bond, the particles are separated in the form of a crack. In the Bingham model, sediment area is treated as a non-Newtonian fluid which can be expressed on two different modes of solid and Newtonian fluid, and they are related to yield stress point of material." @default.
