- W4221103312 abstract "Nanotechnology is a significant arena of science, with potential applications in the biomedical field. Nanotechnologies and consequent nanostructures have been discovered over the past few years, because silver-based nanomaterials have qualities that are extremely intriguing, challenging, and promising, and are appropriate for different biomedical applications, particularly in remedial improvement of customized medical practices. This chapter describes the mechanism of biosynthesis of nanoparticles by plants, such as gold nanoparticles (NPs), silver NPs, graphene quantum dots, and magnetite NPs. In addition, the biosynthesis of NPs by micro-organisms by bioreduction and biosorption is also discussed. Nanotechnology has vast potential biomedical applications, such as drug carriers or as an antibacterial agent. It is also used for the enhancement of reaction rates. Biosensors as well as magnetic separation and detection are also advanced applications of nanotechnology." @default.
