- W4224025896 abstract "Aggregation-induced emission (AIE) has displayed profound application potentials in a vast number of fields. Following proper protocols, the bright emission from AIE molecules in solid or aggregation state can light up an invisible area in a biosystem or a material system, which thus makes it possible to track the status of these systems. The general strategy of designing various AIE molecular materials is to attach a suitable functional group to the AIE moiety so that the resultant AIE molecules could effectively target or complex into the system under study. Among various applications of AIE molecules, luminescent micelles and vesicles are of special interest since these two structures are widely employed in pharmacy, food, cosmetics, and other related products. Endowing sufficient luminescence to these structures allows not only tracking the circulation of materials stored in the micelles or vesicles but also uncovering the physical insight into these fundamental structures." @default.
