Study Design: The current study consisted 196 Indian mustard genotypes together with checks. The genotypes were assessed on the basis of diverse morpho-physiological parameters. All the genotypes were grown in randomized block design with two replications. Place and Duration of the Study: Field experiment was carried out in Rabi 2016-17 and 2017-18 at the experimental field of Department of Genetics & Plant Breeding, College of Agriculture, Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Gwalior, M.P., India. Methodology: The investigation was steered to record different morphological and physiological parameters that play a crucial part in discriminating the embattled genotypes. Results: Owing to current investigation, the highest genotypic and phenotypic coefficients of discrepancy were recognized for seed yield per plant trailed by harvest index and numbers of silique per plant. The highest heritability and genetic advance were found in seed yield per plot, followed by harvest index, biological yield per plot, days to 50% flowering, length of the main raceme, number of silique per plant, seed yield per plant, number of seeds per silique, 1000-seed weight, and number of silique per the main raceme. Conclusions: Based on principal component analysis, 15 principal components were evinced while cluster analysis gave 16 clusters. The highest inter-cluster distance was demonstrated between cluster 9 and cluster 16 which advises that the hybridization programme seeing parents from these clusters is believed to be given a higher incidence of better-wanted combination(s) for development of advantageous genetic materials." @default.
