Wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (WDXRF) is very fast, accurate, and non-destructive technique used to determine minor and major trace elements for the study of cement, oil, food industries, mining, mineralogy, environmental analysis of water, and waste materials. The main experimental techniques used to study the photon-atom interaction processes are WDXRF and energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence. The specimen targets used in WDXRF measurements are usually in solid and liquid forms. Intensity ratio is one of the most important fundamental parameters to the study of chemical effects in various compounds. Qualitative analysis is used to optimize the measured parameters such as adjustment of crystal range, possible overlapped peaks, proper adjustment of X-ray tube voltage/current, choice of collimator, and filters and width of cup mask changer, etc. during the sample analysis." @default.
