A microbial consortium assists microbes to exploit a wide array of carbon sources. It equips microbes with sturdiness in retort to environmental stress factors. Microbes in a consortium can execute multifaceted tasks that are impracticable for a sole organism. With progression of technology, it is now feasible to comprehend microbial interface mechanism and construct consortia. In recent years, the significance of sophisticated tools, such as “genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, and fluxomics” has amplified to devise the strategies to treat these noxious wastes in an eco-friendly comportment." @default.
