Therefore, this study aimed to reduce the thickness of parts and to make them lighter by applying high tensile steel of 600 MPa or more to various body parts. SPFC590 and DP660 high tensile steels were applied to reinforcement seat belt front upper and lower components, respectively. To this end, the mechanical properties of high tensile steel were measured and the performance of the parts and the rationality of the design process were investigated through FE‐analysis such as strength and forming analysis." @default.
