It was an integrated structure consisting of a photoacoustic cylindrical, two diversion holes, and two mufflers at the inlet and outlet. The finite element method (FEM) was applied to simulate the frequency response, noise reduction effect, and flow rate in the PAC. The transmission loss of the expansion muffler reached 28.7 dB. By measuring, the resonant frequency of the PAC and the quality (Q) factor were obtained to be 3950 Hz and 14.6, which was highly coordinated with the simulation. The detection limit (1σ) of the PA system was 141 parts-per-billion (ppb) with a 1 s lock-in integration time. As a result, the normalized equivalent noise absorption coefficient (NNEA) was 2.27 × 10 −9 W•cm −1 •Hz −1/2 .
