- W4225366161 abstract "The appearance of distributed generation became very popular, and it plays an excellent option to confront the issue of the distribution network such as losses. Many optimization strategies have selected to look for the optimal allocationt and scale of DG units. But, the decreasing of losses, and the reliability of these algorithms are lower. Furthermore, we noticed some difficulties with these methods such as the accuracy of the results and the premature return of the solution. So, this paper gives a modified PSO method by calling the chaotic arctangent acceleration to look for the most favorable position and scale of DG units considering the DG unit that injects both the active and reactive power. The objectives of our study are to reduce the losses, and avoid the disadvantages of up-to-date studies. To check the performance of our approach, we select the IEEE 69 bus. The outcomes show the performance of our approach." @default.
