- W4225709743 abstract "Aggregation-induced delayed fluorescence (AIDF) materials have caught a huge amount of attentions owing to their outstanding performance in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). AIDF materials incorporate the advantages of thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) materials and aggregation-induced emission (AIE) materials, while making up for their respective shortcomings. In addition to harvesting both singlet and triplet excitons through reverse intersystem crossing (RISC) process, AIDF materials can also inhibit concentration quenching and exciton annihilation, which are suitable for fabricating nondoped OLEDs. Up to now, the OLEDs based on AIDF materials not only achieve high efficiency and very small efficiency roll-off, but also provide lights covering full-color region as well as white light. This chapter summarizes the latest research progresses of AIDF materials including their molecular design, photophysical properties, and electroluminescence performance. We passionately believe that AIDF materials hold the greatest promise for the application in OLEDs." @default.
