- W4226134003 abstract "A novel DC – DC converter that eliminates the Direct Current variations. This is fed to any inverter generates voltage variation that affects the speed of the motor drive. In this proposed work, a novel DC – DC converter is designed that eliminates the DC link voltage in the DC link connecting the source and the load from a Hybrid Renewable Energy System (HRES). The HRES consists of the solar hybrid Photovoltaic (SPV) and Wind Driven Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG). The hybrid design is mathematically modelled using machine parameters interfacing the two isolated sources. The interfacing design interfaces at the DC terminals of the hybrid model. This eliminates the problem of phase synchronisation and the frequency variations in AC generators. The proposed DC – DC converter uses coupled inductor and switched capacitor (CISC) with an auxiliary MOSFET switch that regulates the DC link voltage under Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM). The dc link voltage variation is reduced by 90% compared to traditional dc link control method. Also, the dc link voltage variation affecting the motor speed is reduced by 98% with the settling time by 50% faster than the traditional work. The proposed converter is verified and the analysis using the closed loop control for the motor drive system is studied. The mathematical modelling is done using MATLAB Simulink.
