It is the main reason why elemental carbon and binary compound boron nitride form a diversity of isostructural nanomaterials. In this chapter, there are described various technologies developed to obtain carbon and boron nitride nanomaterials functionalized with magnetic (iron, cobalt, nickel, and their oxides) nanoparticles, in particular, deposition of hydrocarbons pyrolysis products on metal substrates and from fluid charge, respectively. These nanomaterials are interesting for their applications in electromagnetic shielding, catalysis, environmental technology, cell biology, medicine both for diagnosis and as effective and nontoxic drug-delivery agents, etc." @default.
