- W4226358013 abstract "Heating systems which use heat pumps have been considered in this work. Heat pumps have been also classified. This research outlines problems of air-to-air heat pumps applicability for indoor heating in cold climate. Efficiency of air heat pump has been evaluated by the heating coefficient of performance (COP) which is defined as the ratio of the received useful heat to the consumed energy. The work carries out a comparative energy and entropy-statistical analysis for the existing thermodynamic cycles for a heat pump. This analysis has been done with an auto-cascade cycle on a zeotropic refrigerant mixture in order to further increase its energy efficiency. The work considers a simple throttle with an economizer cycles on R410A which are most often used currently for implementing heat pump installations. Comparative analysis results of the systems energy efficiency have been presented. These systems have been implemented in different cycles. Analytical models, used to determine parameters of the studied cycles, have been described. Special features of selecting and using the components used for creating zeotropic mixed refrigerants have been taken into account. An automated scheme for selecting optimal parameantioters of an auto-cascade cycle has been developed using Aspen HYSYS software module. Entropy-statistical analysis has been performed for all considered cycles including auto-cascade cycles. Processes in the cycles with the highest energy losses have been determined and the reasons for the occurrence of losses have been identified. According to calculation results, the basic auto-cascade cycle is similar in performance to the cycle with the economizer and has a number of advantages. Based on the obtained entropy-statistical analysis results, ways of increasing the efficiency of an auto-cascade heat pump have been proposed." @default.
