- W4226394105 abstract "AbstractInformation security measures for ICT users are always issues that must be considered. This may lead to a sense of mental exhaustion (information security fatigue) owing to the troublesome and time-consuming measures. It has already been shown that information security fatigue prevents the effectiveness of information security measures, and some necessary measures have been proposed. The visually impaired have some problems that cannot be dealt with by the measures considered for the sighted in the previous studies. In addition, considering studies on usable security for the visually impaired, although there are studies on authentication technology and methods, few studies on information security fatigue have been conducted. In this study, we have conducted a survey among only visually impaired university students and have analyzed the results. We found that the distribution of the condition matrix of the sighted students was almost even among the six groups, whereas the distribution of visually impaired students was very different. We also observed that the higher the level of implementation of the security measures is, the higher the level of security fatigue. In addition, we have clarified the countermeasures for the visually impaired because the countermeasures proposed in the existing studies for the sighted cannot fully compensate for their effects." @default.
