- W4226481717 abstract "Emergence of immunotherapy has greatly influenced the treatment of various cancers. Despite these advancements, patients respond differently to cancer immunotherapy, prompting the need to investigate personalized immunotherapy in different tumor/pathological conditions. Personalized immunotherapy is greatly advancing by exploiting the advancements in next generation sequencing technologies in cancer cells, immune cells etc. and holds a great potential to better understand the interplay between the immune system and the cancer cells in varied tumor conditions. Identification of new biomarkers specific to certain tumors and the role of B cells and T cells may greatly change the path of cancer treatment in coming decades. Here, we have highlighted the currently employed techniques to understand the pathophysiology of cancers at individual level. We have also highlighted the use of these advanced techniques for the identification of new biomarkers and neoantigens." @default.
