Special thanks to Dr Jose Paulo Andrade for the photo reference.Artist Perspective: I am incredibly lucky to have grown into my identity as both a scientist and an artist, supported by a global network of scientists, physicians, educators, and artists on Twitter. Conversations around #scicomm and #sciart have opened my eyes to new ideas, research, opportunities, and friends. They have guided me from my early interdisciplinary explorations to my master's degree in neuroscience, and from amateur scribblings to hanging my work in physicians’ offices. For this piece, I wanted to draw on this sense of wonder, richness, and interconnectedness by illustrating an anatomical subject that also embodies all of these: the vasculature of the brain.Footnotes*Correspondence to:Victoria Tang, Clinical and Therapeutic Neuroscience, Department of Psychiatry, University of Oxford, Oxford OX3 7JX, UK.E‐mail: Victoria.[email protected]ox.ac.ukDepartment of Psychology, Princeton University, Princeton, NJ Previous Back to top Next FiguresReferencesRelatedDetails May 2022Vol 2, Issue 3Article InformationMetrics © 2022 The Authors.
