- W4230761966 abstract "Antenna pattern measurements are usually carried out in an anechoic chamber. This chapter illustrates a deconvolution methodology which allows the antenna measurement under a non-anechoic test environment and retrieves the free space radiation pattern of an antenna through this measured data; thus allowing for easier and more affordable antenna measurements. The anechoic chamber is a commonly used facility for the antenna far-field pattern measurement, as it provides an indoor environment and an all-weather capability. In the software, the radiation pattern measurement model consists of an antennas under test (AUT), and PEC plates which serve as the environment. The goal is to remove the effects of the extraneous fields due to the presence of PEC reflectors and retrieve the free space radiation pattern of the helical antenna and the Yagi antenna. The AUT is chosen as the parabolic reflector antenna, and the same procedure is carried out to retrieve the radiation pattern of the AUT." @default.
