Learners are encouraged to understand the aspects and the physical processes that shape patterns of earth, ecological characteristics and spatial distribution of the earth's surface. In addition students are actively and creatively motivated to study that culture and experience influence people's perceptions of places and regions. Implementation of disaster learning on subjects of Geography can be implemented through several scenarios. One of the scenarios that can be done is to take a basic competency containing material in contact with the disaster or disaster issues. Examples of basic competencies of disaster containing material: a) to analyze the dynamics and trends of the lithosphere and pedosfer changes and their impact on life on earth, and b) analyze the atmosphere and its impact on life on earth.
