- W4231842 abstract "Aluminum coatings of different thickness(110nm-220nm) were formed by Physical Vapor Deposition method(PVD) on the polished surfaces of 45 # steel samples, and were bombarded by N 2 + beam at doses of 5×10 16 ∼2×10 17 N 2 + /cm 2 or by Ar + beam at dose of 5×10 16 Ar + /cm 2 , respectively. The corrosion protection property of those samples were evaluated by anodic polarization tests in aqueous acetic solution (CH 3 COONa+0.1M CH 3 COOH, pH=5.6). The protection ability of aluminum coatings were greatly improved after N 2 + bombardment; and decreasing of the protection ability was observed after Ar + bombardment. The influence of aluminum coatings’ thickness and the implantation doses on coatings’ protection ability had been studied. SEM experiment had been carried out to study the micro-structure features of the coatings surface." @default.
