In doing so, the chapter describes a gap within German exile studies where it concerns the artistic output of Germans abroad. Additionally, it briefly demonstrates the link between the disparate disciplines of German, Jewish, Latin American, and migration studies as they are understood across historiography, dramatic theory, and literary criticism.
