- W4246477059 abstract "In this article, a new neuro-adaptive preassigned finite-time tracking control method is investigated for a class of strict-feedback uncertain nonlinear systems with uncertain external disturbance and unknown dead-zone inputs. The new method designs a neuro-adaptive preassigned finite-time controller with tracking differentiators by using a preassigned finite-time performance function. In this research, the uncertain nonlinear functions can be approximated by the neural networks, and the derivative of virtual control is estimated by some tracking differentiators to avoid differential expansion. The method of this article is easier than the normal design method of finite-time control. The proposed controller can ensure that the tracking error of the system converges into a preassigned small region of the equilibrium point within a given finite time. Finally, a contrast study is given to illustrate the validity and superiority of the proposed scheme. Because the tracking differentiator has better ability to reduce the amplitude of the practical control, the proposed method can get better control effect under the smaller control input signal." @default.
