- W4248434557 abstract "Abstract In 1971 at the critical juncture when our Party was waging a life-and-death struggle against the Lin Piao counterrevolutionary clique, the big careerist Chiang Ch'ing, who worked hand in glove with the Lin Piao counterrevolutionary clique, went to the Pi-yun Temple in the Western Hills. She blatantly hurled all kinds of abuse against Sun Yat-sen and ordered the removal of Chairman Mao's portrait and quotations from Chairman Mao concerning Mr. Sun Yat-sen which were hanging in the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in the Pi-yun Temple. On September 7, she went to T'ao-jan-t'ing Park and once again wildly railed at Sun Yat-sen. Two days later, behind the back of the Party Central Committee headed by Chairman Mao, Chiang Ch'ing went so far as to order that the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall at Pi-yun Temple be closed that very night. This was another criminal act committed by Chiang Ch'ing and her gang against the great leader Chairman Mao; it opposed the Party's policy on united front work formulated by Chairman Mao and favored restoration and regression." @default.
