The methodology of hydrogen utilisation for the production of electrical energy and for purging (purification processes) is presented. Based on the laboratory data derived from the electrical and non-electrical parameters recorded in this part of the paper, the design of the monitoring and control system of stack performance was elaborated and the implementation of the system tested.
